Indian Academy of Maxillofacial Surgery
It was established in 1996. This is the brainchild of Prof J N Khanna and Maj Gen Dr P N Awasthi. Their vision is to build a close knit network of maxillofacial surgeons who work sincerely toward developing their knowledge and surgical skills. The mission of the academy is to provide academic excellence and continual learning to all Maxillofacial Surgeons and aim to enhance quality patient care. The academy is solely a teaching body which focuses on conducting various conferences throughout the country. The scientific sessions are comprehensive and eminent speakers are called for the same. Our conferences have live surgeries , table discussions, hands-on procedures etc. These are typically topic-oriented and the students and delegates greatly benefit from the workshops.
